Prepared for OST Comp Jam #7 on itch.io (itch.io/jam/ost-composing-jam-7). The goal is to create a fake video game OST inspired by the prompt (a line of text or, in this case, the image shown here - artist credit @kawaakar._) I misunderstood the submission guidelines and so instead of a playlist, I just prepared a single file. There are 6 "tracks" (notated with my comments in the SoundCloud version):

Done with FL Studio.  Sounds largely from Kontakt and Flex sampling.  Prepared in more of a linear, narrative-motivated fashion since the image prompt felt very narrative-heavy.

Inevitable list of things I only realize that I would change now that the jam is over: - A more audible and catchy motif for (3) - A more upbeat section between (3) and (4) to set up what is meant to be an emotional fall - A more resolved ending to (5) to more clearly establish that the narrative has taken a positive turn before the unabashedly-uplifting ending - A more obvious call-back in (6) to the motif from (1) and a more gradual introduction to synthetic sound elements
